Aside from the known challenges that emerged in 2020, this period of time has shown us what is possible to achieve online. Having previously taught mostly offline, online teaching has introduced me to a world of new possibilities. It has now become my most valued tool, offering learners much more flexibility in terms of time, place, and, especially, exercises.It's much quicker to talk about your last trip by simply screen sharing a picture, showing a PowerPoint presentation you had to do for work in your target language, discussing a piece of news you've just read, or evaluating the language of a short clip together. There are no limits to creativity.
